Breakup Haircut? Olivia Wilde Flaunts New ’Do After Feeling “Betrayed” By Harry Styles Dating Olivia Ratajkowski

The actress is reportedly struggling to move on, so she may have thought a fresh haircut could help.

Olivia Wilde looked refreshed when she was spotted leaving the gym on June 8. Rather than sporting her usual athletic wear, the Don't Worry Darling director changed into a pair of oversized overalls and high heels after her workout.

The actress was apparently trying to go incognito with a baseball hat and sunglasses covering her face. But Olivia was still recognizable, including her new haircut.

Olivia revealed via Instagram earlier this week that she recently got a new ‘do featuring bangs. While her hair is pulled back in the mirror selfie, the face-framing tendrils were on full display, giving her face a rounder look.

"The 24 seconds in the morning before someone is screaming about wishing they were an only child," she wrote over the image, a likely reference to hectic mornings with her two kids.

It's a common trope to undergo some sort of makeover after a break-up. And considering Olivia recently parted ways with Harry Styles after years of dating, there's speculation her new look is a post-break-up reaction.

The former couple have never publicly addressed the reason for their November 2022 split. Rumors have suggested Olivia's ongoing custody battle and public dispute with her ex-partner Jason Sudeikis may have played a part.

However, sources claim Olivia and Harry simply couldn't make their schedules work. "He's still touring and is now going abroad. She is focusing on her kids and her work in L.A.," an insider told PEOPLE. "It's a very amicable decision."

However, shortly after, another report said that Olivia was upset by their split, suggesting it may have not been so amicable after all.

"The break has been difficult for Olivia," an insider explained. "They have had some issues, but Olivia thought they were gonna work through it all. She is disappointed. It's just a tricky situation, though."

Though it's been over six months since their split, Olivia is apparently still struggling, especially seeing Harry date someone new. The former One Direction crooner has reportedly been romancing Emily Ratajkowski. Footage has been published showing Harry and Emily kissing, confirming their romance, though they’ve yet to publicly address it.

However, not only is Olivia apparently unhappy seeing her ex move on so quickly (and in such a public manner), but she actually feels "betrayed" by Harry's new fling.

"Olivia will never speak with Emily ever again," a source told OK! Magazine. "She doesn't know who has betrayed her more, Harry or Emily. Olivia blew up her entire life with her children and their father Jason [Sudeikis] to be with Harry. Now she's left with nothing but a foolish broken heart."

It's possible that Olivia's new haircut is a way to reinvent herself as she tries to move on, just like Harry has clearly been doing. Or, it's possible that she's trying to catch his attention by opting for a fun new haircut. In any case, it doesn't appear that there's much hope left for a reconciliation between Harry and Olivia.
